NASA is creating robots with the size of a bee for Mars exploration. They will be delivered to the planet with assistance of a rover that will recharge them. The rover is to transfer to the Earth the information collected by the robots. Little robots will be able to reach places the rover is unable to reach, to analyze the soil, and also take photos and videos. This solution was made due to the features of atmospheric pressure on Mars which is lower than it’s on Earth and would make large aircrafts experience difficulties.

During the last 5 years Europe was working on the development of a robot, which could help firefighters. It has passed the first successful tests this winter. The growth of the robot-fireman is 185 cm, and the weight is 102 kg. In total, the robot has 32 movable joints making him capable of disassembling blockages, and also carrying weights up to 10 kg. Built-in 3D laser scanner allows it to navigate the landscape, as well as transmit information to operators. The joint development of the robot, which was named WALK-MAN, involved scientists from Belgium, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. The battery of the robot will last for 2 hours. During this time, the robot can help firefighters not only to assess the situation, but also to make the way to especially hard-to-reach places.

NASA sponsored the developers of Akron University in the United States to create a new service based on blockchain, which will help calculate the trajectory of the movement of satellites to prevent collision with space debris. The data center will be based on the Etherium blockchain. Scientists believe they will be able to create a way to more successfully control the movement of the satellite due to to the distributed data register and artificial intelligence. Now one of the biggest problems in space exploration is the frequent breakdown of satellites due to collisions with various space objects, including space debris.
