On October 21-22, the most massive offline event in the blockchain industry, Blockchain Life 2020, was hosted in Moscow. This is the fifth run of the Blockchain Life forum, which is rightfully considered to be one of the most massive cryptocurrency events in the world. In 4 years, the forum has transformed into the most important educational platforms for a large number of participants, a place where thousands of contracts are made, defining the global development of the industry.
This time, the forum brought together 4000 participants, including both industry professionals and newcomers. Forum participants discussed the most trending topics in the industry: raising investments for blockchain projects, legal aspects of DeFi, new crypto trading strategies, and more. Speakers at the forum included experts from the Russian State Duma, representatives from RACB (Russian Association of Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain), major global crypto companies (Binance, Okex, Listing Help, Bitfury, TradingView), as well as major Russian companies in the real economic sector – Sberbank, Gazprom, RZHD, and more.
This is the third Blockchain Life for our team – in the past, we participated in events hosted in Saint Petersburg and Singapore. «This is one of the most exciting events in the crypto industry, and the organizers always invite professional speakers. The forum brings together inspired people, blockchain enthusiasts, who want the blockchain industry to develop, grow, for the world to finally see all the potential that the technology can bring to businesses and regular people», said Alex Reinhardt in an interview with the forum organizers.
Platin Hero at Blockchain Life
Each year, Blockchain Life invites both powerful industry trendsetters with many years of experience and young, promising projects, to join their forum. This year, the forum organizers invited the Platin Hero crowdfunding platform to join as a key event partner, because our platform has already inspired strong interest in the blockchain community despite its recent launch.
Guests at the forum were interested in our innovative project financing model on Platin Hero, and many of them decided to start raising funding for their projects on the platform.
PLATINCOIN also had its own stand, where our team talked about our projects and technologies. Our POS terminals, used to pay for purchases in PLC coins in points of sale around the world, garnered significant interest.
Alex Reinhardt: ‘participants in the crypto market forget the most important thing’
Alex’s presentation became one of the most exciting and memorable events, because he raised some questions that many are afraid to ask at blockchain conferences: the reputation of the crypto market, fears expressed by founders and market participants, difficulties in working with banks, the failure of ICOs, IEOs, STOs and other financing formats.
Alex explained that the main problem of today’s market lies in the fact that everyone forgot about the initial goal of cryptocurrencies and blockchain: bringing freedom, honesty, and transparency. Projects chasing fast profits forget why they entered this market in the first place: ‘We focus on exchanges, we focus on fast profits, we chase the hype, but we don’t believe in cryptocurrencies and we don’t hold any crypto assets’.
He urged the projects in the audience to focus primarily on people, and launch product development from their users’ needs instead of potential profits to be gained by founders.
Alex also shared the ‘golden rule of crypto investing,’ which all PLATINCOIN partners know. It’s based on statistical data that shows that almost all cryptocurrencies increase in price within three years. The rule sounds like this: invest fixed amounts with a specific time interval, for example, every month. Then forget about your invested money, but keep your keys and passwords in a secure location. When you get back to your account, there’s a 99.9% chance that your balance will be higher.
We are grateful to the forum organizers for inviting us to participate as a general partner for such an important industry event. We were delighted to meet so many people with a passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in one place, and we hope to see them all again!
