Journalists got to know the corporation has bought up the startup called Body Labs famous for its 3D human models based on the pictures. According to experts the transaction amounts from 70 to 100 million dollars. The models of Body Labs are widely used in the fashion industry and in the computer game industry. The representatives of Amazon did not provide yet any comments on this information.

Four big banks have joined the initiative for trade financing organized last year by the IT-giant IBM and the Swiss holding UBS. Bank of Montreal (BMO), CaixaBank, Commerzbank and Erste Group now participate in the Batavia project. The idea is to create a system carrying out international trade operations from the beginning to the end. Instead of paper letters of credit transactions will be carried out with smart contracts. According to the developers the goal of the platform is to combine all processes in a single solution and to fully cover the entire business flow. The tests of Batavia will be run in the beginning of the next year.
