“Apple’s more than 100,000 employees are dedicated to making the best products on Earth, and to leaving the world better than we found it”. This phrase perhaps best describes the mission Apple considers to be its own.

We are sure that it is the mission shared by all hi-tech companies today. Fans of cool gadgets and features, photos and high-resolution videos do not need us to talk about Apple’s innovations, their own joys, expectations and disappointments. What we would like to focus on is what we believe to be most important.

Apple Makes the World a Little Better Again

Apple Watch has got two new features:

  1. Monitoring the user’s condition and calling an ambulance if the user cannot do it himself
  2. ECG recording and diagnostics based on which the device may advise the user to consult a doctor.

This technology indeed does make the world a more comfortable, pleasant and safer place to live in.

Another highlight of the presentation was the speech by Lisa Jackson, Apple’s Vice President Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives. Presenting the new iPhone models, she emphasized that the corporation uses only renewable energy and the devices are made of safe and biodegradable materials.

According to Phil Shiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of World Marketing, the new iPhones are so water resistant that you can drop them into a swimming pool or an ocean, pick them up from the bottom and use them right away as if nothing happened to them. A smartphone that would get wet and survive it – oh yes, this is something we have been dreaming of as well!

Perhaps the most spectacular moment during the presentation of Apple’s new products was the demonstration of the new i-Phones’ gaming capabilities based on augmented reality. This technology that can be applied in so many different areas of life can change people’s lives for the better. That is why every new step introducing augmented reality into everyday life is so exciting.
