On January 26th, at 12 PM UTC, the PLC coin was listed on the major HitBTC cryptocurrency exchange. PLC will be traded in a pair with USDT. In this article, we will tell you how to work with the HitBTC crypto exchange: from registration and two-factor authentication to creating a deposit and starting to trade.
The platform provides support in five languages: English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese. Our instructions are based on the English language interface – one of the most popular languages in the PLATINCOIN community.
How to register on HitBTC?
You can register by visiting the site at the following link and clicking on Sign up in the top right corner. In the new window, enter your email address and create your password.
Be careful when using links to cryptocurrency exchanges – make sure to use the links provided by CoinMarketCap or this article. When you click on links in search engines, you might accidentally click on a link to a phishing site.
You will then see a page with the Privacy Policy – confirm your agreement with the given terms by clicking on the Confirm button at the bottom.
Now, your registration on the platform is completed!
Security
Before you start working with the platform, we advise you to active two-factor authentication. You can do this by accessing your settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the website:
In the new settings window, select Security:
Activate 2FA with the Google Authenticator app, and don’t forget to confirm your 2FA connection via email.
Depositing funds to the HitBTC exchange
Cryptocurrency deposits are available right after registration, but you must first complete your verification to make deposits in fiat currencies. You can make a deposit by clicking on the +Deposit button on the top right corner of the website:
Find the relevant cryptocurrency in the list and click on the icon beside it:
You’ll see a window with an address where you should send your funds:
How to trade on the exchange?
Trading takes place in the Exchange tab. You’ll find it in the top left corner:
In the new window, you’ll see the order book, a graph of rate fluctuations, a menu of cryptocurrency pairs and markets. Select the relevant market and find the relevant token for purchase/sale in the search bar or manually. Click on it. The rate graph will be updated with this cryptocurrency pair, and a window to buy/sell the token will appear on the right:
